Marion Appleyard, younger sister to Stanley, was born on 24th June 1891. Marian was baptised 20th December 1891 to parents Arthur and Mary Ellen residing at High Hoyland.
Detailed information about Marion come mainly from the Queen’s Nursing Institute Roll of Nurses. This covered the period from 1st Jan 1927 to 13 Oct 1931 and includes details of previous nursing experience. Interestingly DOB in this record is given as 24th June 1892.
